Yitong Lei
Yitong Lei is a writer and ar(t)chivist whose work focuses primarily on Chinatowns and sinofuturism. Having graduated from UC Santa Cruz (UCSC) with a degree in Critical Race & Ethnic Studies, as well as East Asian Studies, she works as an independent scholar and archivist, contributing to community-driven research and projects such as Santa Cruz in Color, a project built out of the Center for Racial Justice at UCSC. She's excited to join Oakland Chinatown Chamber of Commerce as their new marketing assistant, and hopes to continue strengthening connections between the community and new audiences.
