Linyi Nikki Yu
Linyi "Nikki" Yu graduated from the University of California, Berkeley with a Bachelor of Arts in Legal Studies and minors in Education and Chinese.
Linyiโs deep roots in Oakland Chinatown began with the Asian Youth Services Committee, where she served on the board as President and now as an Advisor. Linyi is also the President of the Wa Sung Community Service Club.
Currently, Linyi is pursuing her Masterโs degree in Marriage and Family Therapy at Northwestern University, bringing a people-centered, compassionate approach to her leadership and community work. She is fluent in English, Mandarin, and Cantonese, allowing her to build strong relationships across diverse communities.
Linyi is excited to bring her passion for community building, supporting local businesses, and strengthening connections in Oakland Chinatown to her role as Executive Director.
